Danimal Farm is the solo project of Danny Doom, former singer and guitarist of Chicago-based band Milk at Midnight. Debut album “Perseverance Hotel” was released in February 2025, a melodic, pop-fueled mix of shimmering indie-rock songs inspired by post-pandemic hope and dread. Doom is joined onstage by multi-instrumentalists Rick Nitz (Milk at Midnight, Today’s My Super Spaceout Day) and Stephanie Harte (6kitty) as well as Clay Kohl (Honey Whites) on drums.

The band were recent guests of Chicago radio legend James VanOsdol’s Car Con Carne podcast, and songs from “Perseverance Hotel” have earned substantial airplay on independent Chicago radio stations Chirp Radio (107.1) and WLUW (88.7). Recent live performances include venues such as Liar’s Club, Montrose Saloon and Drakefest in Logan Square. Holiday single “Snowbound” was released in December 2025 and a new full-length album is expected in 2026.
